President's Corner: Spring 2025
As we celebrate the close of another successful academic year, there is much to be proud of across our vibrant Endicott community.
As was communicated to our alumni on April 28, 2025, President Steven R. DiSalvo, Ph.D., is taking a leave of absence to focus on his health. Our thoughts are with him and his family, and we remain grounded by the strength of our community and the clarity of purpose that defines Endicott.
Our mission as educators has never been more vital. Throughout history, education has always been an anchor. But even in a changing world, we remain rooted in our commitment to transformational learning that inspires leadership, resilience, and character. We prepare our students to thrive in their careers and to lead meaningful lives, full of empathy, adaptability, and critical thinking.
That means meeting students where they are and equipping them for where they’re going. Through the Endicott Experiential Edge, students engage in internships, global learning, and project-based experiences that give them a competitive edge. And with investments in both new facilities and signature learning spaces—from the Esports Lab and Cybercrime Forensics Lab to EC Radio, MINT, and La Chanterelle—we’re helping them innovate across disciplines and industries.
Equally important is our focus on the whole student. In this issue, you’ll read about how we’re expanding our support for mental health and well-being through mindfulness programming, peer mentoring, and a campus culture built on connection, compassion, and community. These aren’t extras—they’re essential to our students’ success and well-being.
Our alumni are a living testament to that mission. Whether mentoring current students, hiring fellow Gulls, or sharing your journey, you remind us that an Endicott education doesn’t end at graduation. It evolves, just like the world around us.
As we look ahead, I’m confident in the people who make this place what it is. The Endicott spirit—resilient, compassionate, and future-focused—continues to shine through in every corner of campus and in every one of you.
Together, we’ll keep building a college and a community where students are empowered to thrive.
Warmly,
Bryan Cain, Ph.D.
Acting President
